Here's a little something for all of you guys who stood behind me all through Elementary School and Middle School and Central. Since I'm going to CR next year, I'm probably not going to see some of you anymore, so, thanks for everything.
In FIRST GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who always talked and helped you out in a new and scary school
In SECOND GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who stood by your side even when confronting the school bully.
In THIRD GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who was a great witness and helped you get out of trouble.
In FOURTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would switch spots with you in Gym so you could avoid holding hands with Nasty Nick or Smelly Susan.
In FIFTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would be in your Science Lab group when no one else would.
In SIXTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would ask out your crush for you so if they said no you wouldn't be embarrassed.
In SEVENTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would give you their apple juice everyday and let you sit by them at lunch.
In EIGHTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would let you copy their homework from the night before and hang out with you after school.
In NINTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would go to the senior party with you so you wouldn't be the only freshman there.
In TENTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who went to all the football games with you and cheered the team on with you.
In ELEVENTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who you went everywhere with and someone who convinced your parents not to ground you.
In TWELFTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who helped you pick out a college, made sure you got in that college, and spent their last year after school hanging out with you and your girlfriend.
In GRADUATION, your idea of a good friend was someone who was bawling on the inside but kept the biggest smile on the outside just so you'd feel happy.
During THE SUMMER AFTER TWELFTH GRADE, your idea of a good friend was someone who would help pick up the empty beer bottles and spend all their time at the summer beach house that you rented.
NOW, your idea of a good friend is your first mate on a neverending voyage in life and takes you to places not even you can see through your own eyes.
I love ALL you guys |
